Frequently asked questions
Can I start free and upgrade later?
Yes. The Free plan has no time limit and no credit card required. When your team outgrows the limits, upgrade to Starter or Pro in one click from your organization settings.
Is there a trial for paid plans?
Yes — Starter and Pro both include a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. If you don't upgrade before the trial ends, your account automatically rolls back to the Free plan. Your data is never deleted.
How does per-seat pricing work?
You pay per active contributor seat. Read-only viewers are free and not counted as billable seats. Add or remove seats any time — billing adjusts at your next renewal.
How does Reqlume compare to DOORS or Jama?
IBM DOORS and Jama Connect typically cost $500–$2,000 per seat per year, require dedicated IT infrastructure, and take weeks to deploy. Reqlume is cloud-native, self-serve, and starts at $29/seat/month — with the same traceability depth for DO-178C and ISO 26262 workflows.
What standards does Reqlume support?
Reqlume is built for teams working under DO-178C, ISO 26262, ARP 4754A, MIL-STD-882E, and IEC 61508. The append-only audit log, snapshot baselines, and compliance PDFs are designed with these frameworks in mind.
Can I import from Polarion or DOORS?
Polarion CSV/Excel import is available on Starter and Pro. Direct DOORS integration is on our roadmap. Contact us if you need a custom migration plan.
Is my data secure?
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Reqlume uses Neon PostgreSQL with strict row-level multi-tenancy — your organization's data is fully isolated from all other tenants.
